Privacy Policy

You do not need to create an account or provide any personal details to use My Holiday Countdown. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile.

Any trip dates, destination names, checklist statuses, followed resort choices, or 90 Days tracker information you add are stored locally on your device.

This data is not uploaded to an app-owned server, shared with third parties, or synced to an app-owned cloud account.

If you uninstall the app, locally stored app data will be removed from your device.

The app displays weather forecasts for specific Tenerife resorts. Weather information is fetched using the resort's fixed geographic coordinates, for example the coordinates for Los Cristianos or Puerto de la Cruz.

The app does not request, access, or use your device's GPS or location services. Your personal location is not collected or transmitted.

Weather data may be requested from third-party weather services such as Open-Meteo. These requests use resort coordinates and weather query information, not your personal location.

The app may show reference exchange-rate information. To do this, it sends currency pair requests, such as GBP to EUR, to third-party exchange-rate services.

These requests do not include your name, trip details, device location, or any personal account information.

The Schengen tracker calculates your remaining days based on travel dates you enter manually. This information is stored on your device only and is not sent to an app-owned server.

The tracker is provided as a helpful planning guide only. Always verify your allowance with official sources before travelling.

The app can generate a countdown image for you to share with friends and family. This image is created on your device.

The app does not upload share images to an app-owned server. Sharing is handled through your device's standard share sheet and only happens when you choose to share.

The app may include links to external websites, phone numbers, Facebook pages, government information, medical providers, or other useful travel resources. These links only open when you choose to tap them.

External websites and services are operated by third parties and are not controlled by My Holiday Countdown. Their own privacy policies and terms may apply.

The app may use standard Android permissions needed for internet access, sharing, file handling, and basic app functionality. These permissions are used only to provide the features described in this policy.

The current version of My Holiday Countdown does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.

If analytics or similar services are added in the future, this policy will be updated and users will be informed clearly within the app where appropriate.

My Holiday Countdown is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at myholidaycountdown.com/privacy and the "last updated" date above will be revised. Significant changes will also be noted within the app where appropriate.
